Walter Skinner holds the position of Assistant Director in the FBI. He is the direct boss to
both Agents Mulder and Scully, but he has to answer to higher authority concerning the
X-Files via a person known only as Cancer Man. On several
occasions he has come through for Mulder and Scully. Skinner is going to divulge a little bit about his past in an upcoming episode titled "Avatar" which screened in the States on April 26 (1996) but evidently it will be a little while before that episode makes its way downunder, or anywhere overseas for that matter. But stay tuned it should be interesting, if not a little spooky.
